Terms of Service

What the service does

You give us a website, a public repository or a document. We read it, propose a script, and wait for you to approve it. Once you do, we render one MP4 with a recorded voiceover, footage, captions and motion graphics. Nothing is recorded and nothing is rendered before you have read what it will say.

Your account

You need an account, a real email address you control, and you are responsible for what happens under it. One person or organisation per account; do not share credentials with people who should not have your videos or your billing.

Your email address has to be confirmed before you can generate anything. That is not bureaucracy, every video spends real money with the services that write and narrate it, and an unconfirmed address is the cheapest way for somebody to spend it anonymously.

What you may point us at

Only material you have the right to use: your own website, your own repository, your own document, or somebody else's with their permission. By submitting it you are telling us you have that right, and that is the one representation on this page we actually rely on.

Do not use this service to make videos that are unlawful, that impersonate a real person or company, that misrepresent someone else's product, or that you intend to pass off as footage of something that never happened. The pipeline assembles real parts on purpose, and a product built to avoid inventing things should not be used to invent them.

Who owns the video

You do. The video we render for you is yours to use commercially: a landing page, an ad account, a feed, a client deliverable. The stock footage in it is licensed for that, including paid advertising. We claim no ownership of your video, your website's content, or anything you upload.

A video made on the free plan carries a small Pipeline Video mark in one corner. Buying a video, redeeming a promo code, or being on a plan removes it, with no box to tick.

We may show finished videos as examples of what the product makes, unless you tell us not to, which you can do at any time by writing to us.

Plans, payment and refunds

Free gives every account two videos for life, up to a minute each. A single video is ten euros and takes the mark off, raises the ceiling to three minutes, keeps the file indefinitely rather than for seven days, and lets you supply your own music and footage. The monthly plans raise the ceiling to five minutes and add House Style, where what worked on your last videos is read before we write the next one.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Plans renew monthly until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than clawing back the current period. Prices can change, but never for a period you have already paid for.

If a render fails or comes back broken, tell us and we will either fix it or refund that video. Beyond that we do not offer refunds for videos that rendered as described and that you simply did not like, because the cost was spent the moment they were made.

How long we keep your video

A video is kept for as long as the plan you were on promised when you made it. That promise does not change retroactively: if your plan later lapses, videos made while it was paid for are kept as agreed, and only future videos are affected. Working files behind a render are deleted after seven days regardless of plan. Download anything you want to keep permanently, and treat us as the place a video is made rather than the place it lives.

What we do not promise

We do not promise the service is always available, that a render always succeeds, or that a script we propose is right for your product. It is a proposal, that is why you approve it before anything is recorded, and the judgement about whether it says the right thing about your company stays yours.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.

Ending it

You can stop using the service whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account by writing to the address below. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the rules on this page, and if we do it for anything other than a serious or repeated breach, we will refund whatever you have paid for and not received.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. A change that materially affects what you have already paid for is one we will tell you about directly rather than leaving you to notice.
